The Coalition was set up in 1987 after the report Black People and Volunteering was published. This showed the lack of black participation in mainstream volunteering agencies, in contrast to the thriving black self help sector.
Since then, we have researched the issue of black participation, run workshops on BMW involvement and promoted good volunteering practice.

Hello, am a Ugandan girl who is studied mass communication degree. Am interested in working for this NGO.However i have the ambition and heart to work and participte in a social environment. How can i join this organization? Is it possible for i to join this organization? Thank you for the great work done. Julie
